5 tips for you to optimize your website for mobile users

The recent changes in society are driven by new technology. Mobile phones user have doubled in only 5 years, also including the double of smartphone’s sales. Opening up a new player fields for advertisers. Most of those connections trough smartphones are being made by a new generation, the digital natives. They are for brands high priority targets, because they will be or they already are buyers. This is why is important for you and your brand to understand that what you see in a computer is not what you get for mobile users. Beware of this difference that could ruins your future client experience and made him flee your website.

 

So here are some tips for you:

 

1. Picture shouldn’t be more than 1Mo

 

Pictures are important, they give life to your blog, your articles and your websites but try to imagine if you have to wait 3 min too finally see what this article was talking about. Try to reduce your photo, less Ko means better experience for phone users, but don’t do it too much so you don’t loose  picture quality.

 

2. Menu have to have a special design for mobiles users

Problems with most of the actual websites is their programing, made for computers. As you can see computer screens are different from mobile screens their format change depending on what device you are using. It can be very frustrating for users to not be able to surf correctly trough the menus or seeing only the beginning of the articles

 

3. Create an App

An easy one but yes please do it! Everyone use them and it is the best for you to be in the everyday life of a consumers. But that mean you have to update your app frequently and create an intuitive interface.

 

4. Don’t write too much

Or if you do it give space to your article. If you want your article to be read make it simple, precise and short. So your consumer can read it easily.

 

5. Make things shareable

Don’t forget this one. A user that cannot share one of your articles on their Facebook page will be a loose for you.
